Privacy Policy

What VERA is

VERA is a decision engine for sales reps. To do its job, it stores the pipeline data you give it: accounts, contacts, activity notes, tasks, and the materials you upload. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), plus profile details you provide such as your name, role, and company.
• Pipeline data you add. Accounts, contacts, notes, tasks, meeting details, and files you upload. This data belongs to you.
• Usage data. Basic technical logs (such as errors and feature usage) used to keep the service reliable.

How we use it

• To provide the product: ranking your queue, drafting outreach, generating briefs and prep documents.
• To power AI features. Your pipeline data is sent to AI service providers (OpenAI for drafting, analysis, and voice; Perplexity for account research) solely to generate the outputs you request. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train models.
• To communicate with you about your account and the service.

Connected email accounts and Google user data

You can optionally connect your own email account (Google Gmail or Microsoft Outlook) so VERA can send the drafts you approve from your own address. If you connect a Google account, here is exactly what that means:

• What we access. With your consent, VERA requests permission to send email on your behalf (gmail.send) and your email address to identify the connected account. VERA does not request read access to your mailbox.
• How we use it. Sending is used only for messages you individually review and approve in VERA. There is no bulk, scheduled, or autonomous sending. We do not read, scan, or analyze your mailbox, and no human accesses your connected account except with your explicit permission for support, or where required for security or by law.
• Storage. OAuth tokens are stored server-side, are never exposed to your browser, and are deleted when you disconnect the account or delete your VERA account. You can disconnect at any time in VERA or from your Google Account permissions page.
• Sharing. We do not sell Google user data, do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the features above or as required by law.
• No model training.We do not use Google user data to train or improve AI or machine-learning models, whether ours or anyone else's.

VERA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

Your data is stored with Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security, so each user can only access their own records. Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted.

Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure and AI providers needed to run the service (hosting, database, AI generation, voice synthesis), and only to the extent needed to deliver the feature you are using. We never sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

Your choices

• You can export or delete your pipeline data at any time.
• You can delete your account, which removes your data from our systems.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the product or by email before the change takes effect.
